Where Ethics Insight helps

What decisions can Ethics Insight help with?

Ethics Insight helps clarify what matters before investment, how to address gaps and scale safely during ownership, what could obstruct an exit, and how to assess a concern and choose the right response when something goes wrong.

Who is Ethics Insight for?

Ethics Insight is built for investment and impact teams, senior ESG and risk leaders, operating partners and portfolio-company leadership. Depending on the assignment, it may also work with boards, leadership teams and specialist partners around a specific decision or response.

See the About page
How is Ethics Insight different from standard due diligence or compliance review?

Most diligence looks back. Ethics Insight looks forward. The work combines documents, data, interviews, operating context and experienced judgement, then looks beyond whether policies exist to whether controls, culture and decision-making fit the risks ahead.

When can Ethics Insight help in the investment lifecycle?

Ethics Insight helps before investment, during active ownership, at exit readiness, and at any stage when a concern is raised. The first three routes form the core lifecycle. “When something goes wrong” sits alongside them because a concern, audit finding or allegation can surface at any point.

What should we do first if a serious concern or allegation is raised?

Gather all available information, separate facts, assumptions and unknowns, then conduct a preliminary assessment of credibility, verifiability and materiality before deciding whether the matter needs immediate action, more information or an investigation.

Working with us

How do we engage Ethics Insight?

We can agree a fee for a defined assignment or work through a service agreement or retainer. Where it suits both sides, we are also open to arrangements that share some of the risk or upside.

What happens after we get in touch?

Ethics Insight reviews what you send and replies with a useful next step, not an automated sequence. If appropriate, the next step is a 30-minute call to understand the situation and what you need next. Then Ethics Insight tells you what it thinks you need next, whether that is something it provides or a recommendation.

See the Contact page
Should we send names, allegations or sensitive evidence through the website?

No. Do not send names, allegations or sensitive information through the public website. If a matter needs more detail, Ethics Insight can agree an appropriate way to share information after an initial conversation.

Ranulph

What is Ranulph?

Ranulph brings context, documents, data and public-source material into one structured review. It helps teams assess exposure, review documents and data for gaps and weaknesses, generate follow-up questions, support gap analysis and action planning, and use tools such as Fraud MRI and Harmoniser where relevant.

See the Ranulph page
Can anyone use Ranulph directly?

Some teams want the review delivered through Ethics Insight. Some may want direct access to Ranulph, which we can discuss if you get in touch. Others want Ranulph adapted or integrated into their own workflow or systems.
